Our Competitors
There are many places in Palm Beach, Martin, or Broward County that you could get work done for your home. This section of my web
site is to convince you why none of our competitors stack up to us.
First there are the large corporate home improvement stores. These stores are great for some things, but kitchens and bathrooms are
not one of them. Would you order a cheeseburger at seafood joint? Or how about seafood at a burger joint? Neither would I. Ordering a
kitchen or bathroom from a large corporate store is no different. When you do that, you will not be working with someone who has
twenty years experience in woodwork. You will be ordering out of a catalog that someone on the other side country is also looking
at. Not very custom, is it?
All of our custom work is made in house. It won't be delivered to you on a huge truck packed in boxes and Styrofoam peanuts. We
don't use cheap labor or materials. Your work will not come from some cheap mass production assembly line in China. Your work will
be locally crafted and it will come fresh and warm off the floors of our cabinet shop located in the heart of Boynton Beach.
Then there are other local woodwork companies. You must beware of many of them. Some of them will take your deposits and run
off, deliver bad products, use cheap materials, or will deliver the wrong product. Doesn't sound fun, does it? It especially
isn't fun when they run off after they already tore out your old kitchen and left you with no kitchen and no deposit. This is
where we usually get called in to fix things. These companies will attract you with ultra-low, discount prices and then scam
you. Please do not fall victim to this! Too many times have I seen it and all it causes is headache and frustration. If it
sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You get what you pay for.
I can't change minds. Some people are willing to live with a Chinese-manufactured kitchen just so they can work with a national
name. Other people are willing to take a gamble with an ultra-low price but end up unhappy and at square one because they were
scammed. When choosing someone to do your woodwork, stick to a name you can trust. Stick with Scherban Mica & Wood Works. We
have been in business for twenty years. This is what we do. This is how we feed our families. We are only interested in providing
the most outstanding quality work for your money, all while making sure the entire process is smooth and hassle-free.
